Angi returned to education in later life and achieved degrees in Psychology (BSc Hons); and Child Psychology, Mental Health, and Development (MSc). Since then, she has supported both children and adults living with the impacts of trauma, adversity, inequalities, and poverty: and has worked across areas including mental health; education; addiction and recovery; and children’s services. Angi passionately believes in supporting the development of a trauma informed and responsive society and supporting others through a lens of compassion and non-judgement.

Angi is a qualified Compassion Focussed Wellbeing Teacher and Wellbeing Practitioner and founder of Adelpha Wellbeing. She is also the co-chair of the National Trauma Leads Network that supports the National joint ambition of the Scottish Government and COSLA for a trauma responsive workforce and communities across Scotland.

Angi is a passionate advocate for the voices of lived experience collaboration, co-design, and co-production.
