For almost two decades, Wendy worked in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector and focused on developing new and innovative services and providing counselling to survivors of trauma and abuse.

Alongside this, she has over 15 years’ experience designing and delivering training for professionals across the charity and public sectors — including police, education, and health — to strengthen their confidence, resilience, and values-based working. This breadth of experience has given her a deep, practical understanding of the realities faced by frontline practitioners and the organisations that support them, as well as a strong grasp of the theoretical frameworks and relational dynamics that underpin effective practice.

As an accredited integrative therapist, Wendy’s approach to training is relational, reflective, and trauma-informed. She is known for creating engaging, down-to-earth training spaces where people feel safe to be honest, think critically, and build confidence in their skills and practice.
