Overview and Purpose

On the one-day trauma skilled training course, we promote that trauma is everybody’s business. The course aligns to NES level 2 framework and is designed for all agencies who are likely to be working alongside people who may have been affected by trauma. This course will assist personal reflection on how to think about this in your daily working approach and develop new knowledge and skills to apply in practice. We call this level of awareness about trauma – ‘Trauma Skilled’.

The level 2 trauma skilled training course is also certified by the CPD Standards Office and your certification upon completion will equate to 12 hours of CPD.

The training approach is strengths based and delivered to accommodate all learning styles. It draws from the latest research and the aim is to increase practitioner confidence and how they align their practice to be informed in their service provision for service users with a history of trauma.
