Overview and Purpose

This creative course is designed to introduce participants to the power of creative writing tools which may be useful in their practice as trauma informed practitioners working with people with a history of trauma. We would recommend this Trauma Informed Creative Writing Course as a follow on to Epione’s Level Two or Three Trauma Informed Training.

Trauma Informed Creative Writing Course

On the one-day trauma creative writing course we explore the benefits of creative practice through creative writing which can be a powerful way in which to alleviate stress and make sense of experiences . During this one-day course, participants will be guided through a creative workshop centred around The Power Threat Framework, and will learn how to use the framework as a tool to empower service users and utilise writing, journalling and reflective skills to improve their wellbeing .

Prerequisites

 

It is helpful for delegates to have completed Epione Level 2 Trauma Training  or Level 3 Trauma Training prior to  attending.
