Embracing Growth, Resilience & Connection After Adversity with Epione’s Trauma Informed Training

Our trauma-informed training ranges from NES Level 1 to Trauma-Informed Leadership training. NES Level 1 enables attendees to understand person-centred interactions in a way that prevents further harm and supports recovery from trauma and adversity. On the other hand, Trauma-Informed Leadership training enables an organisation to begin to set out its own course of action in creating a culture of trauma-informed and trauma-responsive practice.

The training courses can run as ‘open registration’ or ‘closed in house’ for a specific team or service. Epione utilises an array of learning and teaching styles, including small group discussions, experiential reflection, multimedia methods, and learning inputs either in person or online. The training is highly participative, and case studies and live examples will be interwoven throughout. Most importantly, Epione aims to ‘train the trainer’ and make the training informative, fun, and engaging so that all participants have the confidence to employ the practical tools acquired during training in their workplace, and so delivers a trauma-informed and responsive practice to improve outcomes.
